This project was carried out in accordance with the UZ76 criteria of the Austrian Ecolabel (Österreichisches Umweltzeichen). Measures implemented included, among others:
Around 50% of the costumes were sourced from various costume stocks, with a total of 11 characters dressed exclusively from the existing inventory.
Thanks to careful location scouting, filming in a nature reserve could be avoided.
The power consumption of the lighting department was impressively low. Over all shooting days, only 292 kWh were used in total.
The topic of planet placement stood out particularly positively—through the solar system installed on the alpine farm, the ranger’s electric car, the national park setting, and the characters’ discussions in the film about climate change.
